Four PNW force teams were in action at the Little Turkey Tournament at the HUB in Centralia. All four teams made the Platinum brackets for their respective divisions. PNW Force Lantz 14U and PNW Force Rich 12A both earned the #1 seed in their respective pools. Unfortunately, both teams lost hard fought games in their first bracket games on Sunday and were eliminated.

For the first time this year, two Force teams played against each other in bracket play on Sunday. PNW Force Naval 10U came out strong in the top of the first inning getting a hit and runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs. However, PNW Force Meyers 10A struck out the batter on a full count to get out of the inning. In the bottom of the 1st, PNW Force Meyers had yet to score with a runner on 3rd and 2 outs, but PNW Force Naval couldn’t close out the inning after a missed drop third strike. 2 drops by the 1st baseman allowed Meyers to capitalize and score 4. The floodgates were open at that point, and PNW Force Meyers cruised to a 12-0 victory with the help of 2 homers, before moving on and winning the Championship for the third strait tournament, scoring a total of 49 runs and allowing only 1.
