The final month of the season is a time for our girls to show off all their hard work and dedication throughout the year. Hundreds of hours of practice and scores of games over the last 10 months prepare our teams for the final championship month of the year.
PNW Force 18U kicked off in Colorado when they attended the Triple Crown Colorado Sparkler. 18U hit bombs and earned All American honors. The tournament showcased almost 300 18U teams and had coaches and scouts from all over the country. Force 16U was in the USA Softball Metro Championships in Kent and Renton WA. 16U balled out and lost a one run game in the semi-finals. From their both 16U and 18U headed down to San Diego for the Triple Crown World Series. Over 140 teams competed in Southern California with almost 30 colleges and universities in town. Both 16U and 18U earned spots in the Bronze brackets, with 16U battling to the final where they got second place. The final tournament of the year for our veteran groups was the Last Hurrah tournament in Olympia, WA. Both teams enjoyed the heat and wrapped up their season in a local tournament.
Vancouver, Washington hosted the USA Softball 10U State Championships. Both 10A Meyers and 10B Naval competed in their respective classes. 10B Naval showed how much improvement they have had over the season and surprised some of the better teams in the state. They finished just short of the quarter finals and were proud of what they accomplished this year. 10A Meyers fought through a small field of teams to earn a spot in the championship. The battled through the heat and came away with as the USA Softball 10A State runner up. 10A Meyers closed out their season in Reno, Nevada at the Triple Crown World Series. The represented the PNW with pride and earned a spot in the Gold bracket in Reno. They were one game shy of making it to Championship Saturday, and the Meyers squad gained invaluable experience playing at the highest level.
USSSA offered the Cascade National Championships tournament in Olympia, Washington. Three of our teams represented PNW Force: 12U Birklid, 14U Gaul, and 12A Rich, who played up in the 14U division. Cascades Nationals is a great tournament that starts with an opening ceremony, skills competitions, and pin exchange. All three teams had moments in the tournament they will build on for next season.
Tryouts for the 2024/2025 season take place in July, and any available positions after the open tryouts will be organized by that team’s coach. Check our Contact Us page to find the right coach.
